hey guys let me first say im pumped to be here! I have a 2014 fatboy lo and im so mad i didn't buy a harley sooner!
but im installing uniq cycle sounds system and im trying to find the best place to hide the amp its a rockford fosgate. my buddy and i have come to the conclusion that my best bed is to buy a swing arm saddle bag to hide the amp? Just wanted to see what you guys think. Thanks in advance!
It may get too hot in the swing arm bag. I mounted mine in a little bag I use for odds and ends and, it got too hot. My bag was pretty small though. A swing arm bag is bigger and may work OK. All you can do is try. Is a PBR300? That's a nice amp and puts out good volume.
I had a tough time trying to find a place to put it also. I did a thread of some projects I have made over the years, my amp install is in here. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...t=music+deluxe
You could try it in the swing arm bag and try it. Some holes in the bag may help, don't know if you want to get a new bag and put holes in it.
