Default SEATS (COMFORT)

When it comes to comfort, which mfg makes the best seat for the long ride. Going on a saddle sore 1000 in a few weeks and looking for a great seat. To be installed on a 07 H/D heritage Softail single ride solo.

Default RE: SEATS (COMFORT)

Hello, just this past week I tried 3 different aftermarket seats on my 06 heritage softail.I was looking to see if any of them were better then my stock 2 piece hd seat.I tried mustangs wide vintage studded. In the past I have allways had one on my sportster & loved it. Not this time. the seat made me feel like I was riding on top of the bike not in it.Seat was allso very, very firm. Next I tried danny grays big seat, studded.I now sat about 1" lower then stock.seat felt good but still very firm. Was allso much narrower in the front, when I put my feet down at a light I didn't feel the front of the seat.Next tried saddleman renegade delux studded. Very much like the stock hd seat.If I didn't like my stock seat I would keep this one, nicely made same size as the hd seat.I am 5'9" 175lbs. & like it when you bounce up & down in the seat it compresses some.Hope this help you guys that are looking for another seat.Dont forget you can allways send your stock seat out & have it reshaped. good luck, hope this helped. tom

I put a Corbin Solo on mine and like it so much more than stock. The seat is firm but very comfortable.

I also went with a Corbin. I have the HD drivers backreat seat that is a freaking couch and the Corbin is much more comfortable. Once the Corbin is broke in I don't think there is a more comfortable seat but since it's a Corbin you will pay for it in the wallet...lol...
