Question Need help on Slim

Guys, I need some help here. I posted this same question in the wheels section, but unfortunately that does not get that much attention in that category. I am wanting to purchase some Roland Sands Contrast Cut Platinum wheels for my bike. I have spoken with several retailers and Dealerships and cannot get a conclusive answer. The majority have told me that I need to go with an 18x4.25 in the rear. However, I need to be certain that this will work without any major modification and not rub with tires either. If anyone has done this or anything similar please weigh in. Also, If any retailers on this website deal with roland sands and can confirm this that would be great. Also, if you're running this size wheel, what tire and size did you go with?....And yes before someone tries to bash me for not googling this I did.

Theoretically, yes...that wheel should fit just fine. Actually yes, the wheel will fit. There's a couple of guys on here running 17x4.25" wheels and 170/60 17 tires. As for rubbing and such, just compare overall tire diameter; that's what's going to get you, not the wheel size. Look for a 170 or 160 with a close to stock diameter and you should be good to go!
