I'm looking for a windshield that will look good on this bike, keep the wind off of my chest, and won't buffet my head. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
I have an 05 Springer classic. The factory windshield was too tall & the top inch was really distorted. I hated it!
I installed THIS & I love it!! It's amazing how much wind comes up at you from over the fuel tanks.
Now, I can ride 100+ mph with my jacket unzipped & loose & it doesn't move.
I ride a lot in the winter too & this windshield really makes a huge difference in keeping my face warm with only a half helmet & a balaklava.
here's a pic of it on my bike, not a great pic but you can get the idea. I ride without it in warm weather but It's wayway sweet on longer trips & colder days!
Ride wise,
SS
I got the hd detachable windshield for my '05 Springer classsic & it works great, Its a little tall, but I like it that way because there is no buffeting. its also detachable when you want to roll through town, it makes the bike look AWESOME, but its nice to have the windshield.
