Today I picked up my new Fatboy (MY 2014). I'd asked my dealer for a couple of changes to the standard model, and most of 'the stuff' I asked for had arrived in time; the only 'big thing' still missing is the solo seat with rider backrest.
As I wrote in another post, I have changed from a Road King to this Fatboy and after the first couple of hours on the new toy today I can only conclude I made the right decision !
Based on a recommendation from my dealer, the standard footboards have been modified to increase ground clearance; I have tried to shoot a couple of pics but had to do so in the garage; it started to rain again
Anyway, hope it is clear from the pics; if not happy to give it another try once its dry again.
Pics appreciated!! Will think about how I can make something similar. Can you take one pic under the boards from the front of bike looking towards the rear. Would like to see how they are mounted to the floorboards.

Not enough room on standard fatboy? So you buy a lo which is a little lower than the regular fatboy and raise the footboard? No disrespect. Confused..........
Can u share with us who the dealer is and what one can expect to pay? Or do they only sell to locals?
I'd like to do something like that on my Banana boards so I have better access to the kickstand with my foot. Reduced dragging would also be a plus...
