I'm looking to get a black springer front end for my softail slim. Anyone have any recommendations? Im here in Southern California if there's a recommended custom shop in the area. I have heard to stay away from the $399 ones on ebay.

Since I don't know about Springer front ends, and come from a sport bike and Moto X background, I did a Bobber style Slim with a Stock fork. A Springer would have made it MUCH better.
Tractor Seat:
I don't care for the thick plastic covers HD sells.
I cut down the front and rear mounts from a X Bones, and by using an Earth X battery, I was able to tuck all the wires, 'puter, etc under the frame rails for a hard tail look.
I have seen both these set ups! I like the clean bars and springer on the night train posted.

The tractor seat and pan specifically is the cleanest I've seen on your slim! Amazing that all fit inside your oil tank under the frame rails.

'13 Slim with anti lock:
Very nice. I also think a springer would put the cherry on top of your bike. Where did you get the pan?
