It's a Bare Bones.

Maybe "nothing like a hardtail" was a bit of an exaggeration....it is a pretty stiff ride with the bike set that low but so far I've managed.

Thanks.

The turn signals come either chrome or "raw"....I ordered mine chrome by mistake. I scuffed up the chrome and sprayed them with wrinkle black spray paint and then cooked them on my grill to fast dry. (it said to on the can...use heat at least. )

I was going to use HD wrinkle paintbut I just about passed out when I saw they wanted 22 bucks a can for it at the dealer.

I bought some at Advance Auto Parts and it matched perfectly.

It looks great.

I wish they would make that taillight for earlier models.

Someone asked for shots at night....here you go. The light glare kind of washes out the camera though so it looks like a red blob....in person it looks like a much brighter version of the taillight.

This is with the brake light on.

I put the same on my '07 train, then left off the tag and side mounted it - -there's two little holes where the tag should go - kind of awkward to cut off, but they look bad w/out a tag - anyone done anything w/those? Suggestions? I put the light on after lowering - should have installed it before I lowered it - it was tough getting to those bolts!

I'd show a pic, but it keeps coming up w/an error - help!

BTW, your bike looks great!

HA HA HA, too late, already ordered them. Actually nah, just kidding, dont know if they're legal in NY, they're not DOT approved. Then again my future home state of VA might not give a hoot. Think I may get them soon anyway...

Thanks. I am waiting for a sidemount bracket to show up. I am not convinced I am going to use it yet but I think it would look really clean behind the bike with no tag. What side mount did you use?

Email me the pic bpm2k@comcast.net and I will post it for you.

As for being tough to get to the bolts...amen to that one. It wasn't terrible but it would have been a hell of a lot easier without the lowering kit.
