Looks to me like you've been doing just fine on your own......but since you asked, I'd match the front end and bars, so unless you're going to change the front end to all black (ultimately my favorite), then go with chrome bars.
Everyone has different opinions on black or chrome. One of the reasons I am thinking about new bars is because I thought about going with chrome. My original intention when I got the bike was to black out the front end, kind of lost the urge to do that now.
One of my buddies ordered a chrome engine cover kit for his 13 wide glide, I installed it for him and got his wrinkle black parts (and beer) as payment. So I installed the wrinkle black covers on my Slim when I did my cam swap because I liked the look. I liked it so much that I ordered wrinkle black rocker boxes, installed the uppers but left the polished lowers to break it up a bit.
It would be nice if I could get an extra set of controls and wiring...wire up a chrome set of bars and switch from chrome to black as the mood changes hahaha.
