Anyone tried to put touring apes on a softail ? Reason I'm asking is I put a fairing on me deluxe and my apes I have to pull way back.thought the touring apes I might be able to push forward with the bend in the bars.

Don't see why not, I installed the klockwerks kliphangers on my fatboy..Double check the front brake set up though I had to change mine to a touring set up because my bars adjust , but you might be ok.
