ecm mount location
I recently picked up a 2002 night train basket case. I have reassembled most of the bike but because i got it in pieces i can't figure out how the ecm mounts. The bracket didn't come with the bike so I went to the dealer and ordered one, unfortunately their diagram doesn't show how it mounts and I can't find it on the net, youtube or in my shop manual. If any one has a 2002 softail or night train and could remove their seat and show me how it mounts I would be grateful. I know it must mount under the seat and most likely on the fender but either they gave me the wrong part or I am missing something because i can't figure it out. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/image...s/icon_doh.gif Thanks
Thank you for your reply Next in Line , thats where I think it mounts as well but the dealer gave me a flat piece of metal with two threaded studs sticking up out of it. My fender has a large square hole cut in it at the rear of the seat and the metal bracket they gave me is smaller than the hole.
Here's what it looks like, fits right down in that hole. You can see how it mounts from this picture I think.

If you have a piggyback tuner, you can get a deep mount that sits the computer further down in the fender. Dynojet sells them cheap if I recall correctly, like $15 or something.

By the way take that back to the dealer, their microfiche should have shown them what you need, part # 72368-00
See it here on the microfiche - item 25.
