Default Night Train Mirrors

Before my Train was delivered, I was sure I wanted to change the bars right away. But, I'm starting to get used to the drag bars and I'm going to keep them for a while. However, the stock mirrors on the bike are useless. All I can see is my arms and shoulders. I'm 6'2 / 180lbs, so its not a case of ME being too wide. I ride in traffic all the time so good mirrors are required. The new HD split vision mirrors look like they would work but are pricey.

What do you train owners use for mirrors?

I don't have any problem running with the stock mirrors but I do plan on getting these skull mirrors pretty soon.

I had the chance to actually see them in person on a bike at a local bike show a few weeks back and the pictures on the Kuryakyn web site doesn't do them justice.

There are a lot of mirrors availible with different heights and widths.

Good luck!

I see from your sig pic you changed your bars. With wider bars the stock mirrors would probably work fine.

Oh yeah! I forgot I had changed my bars. The bars were second mod I made to the bike.

My arms arn't that long and the straight drag bars were just too much of a stretch for me.

Looks good nitetrain, what kind of bars are they? Street Slammers? Carlini? I'm asking because I'm trying to decide on replacements for the stock drag bars which are just too much of a reach for me. I need bars with a little pullback. Thanks.

I recently put those mirrors on my bike . I like them but I'm not so sure about the chrome quality yet [sm=confused06.gif]
