96 vs 103
Is there really much difference in performance between the two?
I mean for the average rider.
Thanks

Minimal at best...maybe if you ride a stock if each back to back...I was able to tell a difference but small.

I can tell some difference between my old 88 and the 103, but not a lot.

and soon the 110 to compare to.
I have an 88 and a 103, besides the 6th gear there's not so much difference, my Springer has less acceleration but can keep up at highway speeds.

There is a good difference between my old 103 and the new wet head 103.

Is the gearing exactly the same?

Regardless of whether or not stock has much difference, there is more potential in the 103 for upgrades over the 96, right?
