Thinking of getting the lindby bars (see pict), but wondering if the Kuryakyn are as strong. I'm all for what looks good, but if I lay it down I want more than just looks....
other than a few cosmeticsof a short fall, they are only for looks.
Exceptwhen both the front bars andthe saddle bag bars are on your spoke wheeled bike and you get a flat tire on the side of the road. With both front and rear barsyou can gently cradle your bike over onto the bars and removethe wheel with the flat tire andrepairitroadside.
I really don't like those bars. I've saw them on bikes before, and they just don't do it for me. I like the regular style highway bars, and just put a set of pegs on it and be done with it.[&:]
It's pretty much whatever you like cosmetically. I don't care for the huge standard bars - as far as strength, even though I've never laid mine down (and hope I never do), the Lindby are top notch quality and would for sure equal or surpass the HD bars in strength. They are heavy.
I put the Linby AND pegs on, a couple years before they were offered integrated.
