Default Bones on the Road

I purchased a 2011 Cross Bones two months ago with some mods in mind. Finished up last week. 7.5 degree Vulcan rake kit, purchased a damaged rear fender on eBay and shortened it 4 inches, signal brake light led conversion, Carlini 10 inch Evil Apes, Samson Sidewinders. And a few more little things.

Wicked lookin bones man. The racked front end looks good, and the rear fender is quite unique.

Looks great but then again, I've always been a fan of a bike with a Springer front end.

Nice! What did you use to fill the gap for the front fender removal at the axle?

I slid a piece of black rubber hose over the boss with some grease on the inside so the bushing/boss would rust.

Flying Burrito Brother,

Your bike was an inspiration for a lot of my mods.

Maybe we're talking about different things. There's the chrome strut that comes down the right side from the fender...it acts as a spacer. I can't imagine a rubber hose would be sufficient to keep the wheel from slopping around on the axle. See image

I'm honored.
