You've provided very little info in your posting but I'll add my thoughts. You did not mention if you also upgraded to a Stage 1 free flowing intake. Regardless, the new pipes have changed the dynamics of the fuel system which is being read by the O2 Sensors and an engine fault is being displayed. Your bike needs to be properly tuned. I recently tuned a bike with the New FuelPak 3 and was impressed with the device. Well worth the money.
I can get into the codes p0151 rear o2 sensor but it will not clear it. Replaced the rear sensor and still cannot clear it !
Before your above post with the code, I suspected that one or both the O2 sensors were not re-installed and connected correctly - did you install the sensors from the old exhaust.
Of course it needs tuning with the new exhaust, but I'd be surprised if that would throw a code - if this was the issue, I'd expect both front and rear to throw that code P0131 and P0151.
Only exhaust otherwise it is stock. I can see the ecm code and when I try to clear it, it wont clear. The bike had another code that was speedo related and it let me clear that one. I cant get it to clear the ecm code
I understand that it will need to be tuned but I would like to get the code cleared. It will probably come back but I cant figure out why I cant clear it
hello builder1. I have had a few codes come up on my 2014 FLSTC, they were P0507-Idle Air too high; P1475-Exhaust Actuator; P1632-Odometer Learned Up. I cleared all mine. According to the dealer that is looking at my bike, he says the P1632 is the ECU updating the speedo. ie Time, Revs, Speed etc. When you had the new pipes fitted did you install or dealer install. If the dealer did the installation he should have offered a Stage 1 and then reset and retune the ECU. Hope this is of some help. If you can't clear any codes then it is a dealer or someone with the right gear to clear the ECU.
