Well not a big one but a friend has a 09 Deuce. Years ago he got a chrome seat rail off of an older Softail Springer.

I have an 05 Deuce and saw my friend at the dealer. He was working a trade on a 12 Street Glide. I asked him what he wanted for the seat rail. He said just swap it out with yours.

20 minutes latter it was on my seat. It has a higher second rail supported in the center by chrome tubes on the same diameter shaped in a V.

Made the Deuce look like it was from the 60's. No picture yet.

A common abbreviation for say 2009 is 09 just as I used 05 for my 2005. If that is any help to anyone that needs direction.

Yep! that's the one. I think it adds to the look of the Deuce. Thanks, now I don't have to drag the bike out from back of the 17 other bikes where it was put because it had it's turn this season.

You mean maybe a Springer? (They didn't make a Deuce in '09.)

Maybe he meant Deluxe (09 and 05), since that's the photo that he said "yep!" to. With 17 other bikes, it's probably hard to keep the names straight
