Been riding my new bike for the past few day and what a ride it is. in the past 12 years i've owned 8 bike, the fayboy lo being my 8th. Out of all the bikes i've ridden and owned, the fatboy lo has to be the most comfortable and well balanced bike i've ever ridden. Got my new Ultimate seat on it yesterday and now i'm in heaven! Let the mods begin!
Great looking bike and glad to hear that you are enjoying it. I too have found my new Fatboy (non-low) to be extremely well-balanced and easy to ride. The low center of gravity really seems to help in the turns. Like you, I am really happy with my choice of bikes.
Nice Lo! Love the blue!
Mine is a year old now, put way too much $ into it already. The mods will never end, there is always something you will want to change or add!
First year Lo with a ton of mods. It never stops. Next up is a custom exhaust built by George Stinsman of Chaos Cycles. He's going to have a bike in Artistry in Iron at Las Vegas in October. A great bike builder.
Love my fatboy even if i dont get much time to ride. I was planning to buy a dyna but after trying the fatboy it just fit like a glove.
Same here, by the way. I was really psyched up about the Lowrider and the Switchback Dynas, but Nick at HB Harley talked me into test riding the Fatboy along with the Switchback. Loved the Fatboy!
That's why softail owners keep their rides for so long. The ride is amazing and the customization is endless if you have an imagination. Riding and customizing softails ROCKS! For the most part the softail forum has passionate owners with an awesome imagination which is the reason there are so many threads with wicked custom softails. Don't be surprised if you end up getting other bikes but never getting rid of your softail.
