oh make sure once you find the correct setting for your throttle boss to use blue locktite. I thought I tightened it and it would be fine. Well after having my throttle cable adjusted it was too far for where I wanted it. Today I losened the throttle boss, the tine hex bolts were not very tight any more
Well, you're not really "clueless," clueless. As soon as I read your post I went out to the garage and checked the hex bolts on my grips, and sure enough, they needed more than a bit of tightening. They've been on the bike for a little over 10,000 miles with nary a problem. Great grips. There's a reason so many people use them. Ditto for the throttle boss as well.
