Thinking of swapping out stock handgrips on my heritage in favor of Kuryakyn ISO grips. On long runs vibration causes aggravation to arthritic condition. Has anybody made this swap, and how well do they work? I'm very skeptical of cure all claims, have they helped anybody with my condition? Does anybody know of a better way to go? Thanks![sm=confused06.gif]or
Get 'em. I have an 05 Heritage and also my 05 Train. Got the ISO grips on the Heritage. They are almost as good as they claim. Make sure you get them with the built in throttle boss. Once you get it adjusted right, you just rest your palm on it and go down the road! Can't go wrong with 'em in my opinion.
I have the Kuryakyn Pilots on my bike as it seemed like 8 out of 10 bikes I saw had the ISOs on it and I don't like to be the same.
Mine have a built in throttle boss and I love it. The boss makes it so you don't have to put a death grip on the throttle and makes the ride much more enjoyable.
yepp best place to get them is the board sponsor eastern performance. the accent is the little (and I mean tiny) accent ring that is on the end of the ISO Grip near the end cap.
oh make sure once you find the correct setting for your throttle boss to use blue locktite. I thought I tightened it and it would be fine. Well after having my throttle cable adjusted it was too far for where I wanted it. Today I losened the throttle boss, the tine hex bolts were not very tight any more
I like it so I can rest my wrist on it in 6th gear and I am doing 70 on the highway [sm=biker.gif]
