The Deluxe and Heritage are identical to each other in riding and handling. The Deuce and FXSTC are identical to each other in riding and handling except I prefer the shifting of the five speed over the 6 speed in the newer 07.
All the softails compared to Dyna's and Touring bikes are far better riding, handling and tracking.
The Vrod and Street 750 track as well but are too firm almost harsh in ride quality.
The XR1200 is the only other HD that can handle the road as well but not quite the comfort.
I am getting rid of my 12 Road Glide and turning its touring duty over to the Heritage. Can't wait to cross the country with it next year.

Thanks man, I was interested in what your opinion on these two was particularly because the Deluxe is lowered one inch. Doesn't seem like much to me but I've never ridden a Heritage. Thank you and enjoy that beautiful collection.
