Yes. I got the 07 FXSTC new in Aug 06. Just bought the 16 Heritage three weeks ago. 18,000 miles on the FXSTC. 22,000 on the Deuce, 11,000 on the Deluxe and 1,100 on the Heritage.
Not many miles because the ridding gets rotated with the Vrod, Street 750, 3 Sportsters, a Buell, a Freewheeler, 3 Road Glides, 99 FXRS and 3 Dyna's.
I have the various families of HD bikes covered. I do over 30,000 miles a year riding but dividing that between 19 bikes means none will ever get worn out. I'm sure of that because of my age (75) I will be worn out before the bikes.
I did have a 10 Ultra Classic and a 10 Superglide. Let them go because with the Ultra after 32,000 miles through states like the Dakota's, Nebraska and Utah when I ran into strong high winds the bat wing would try to pull the handle bar out of my hands. That is why I favor Road Glides for touring. The Superglide just had too much wobble on bumpy curves at speed. Gave up on it at 7,700 miles. The Low Rider, Street Bob and Fat Bob don't seem to have that trouble.
No Softy has ever given me any problem at any speed or road condition. I will keep them forever.
