Default why?

I have a 2009 fxcwc with V&H big radius pipes why does my 07 XL1200N with V&H shot shots sound so much meaner then my 1584? When I crack the rocker open its nothing like the sporty even at a idle the sporty sounds better is there a better sounding version of the big radious sweeping pipes by another company?

Do you have the stock baffles in the V&H pipes? Thought about removing them?

The Big Radius of course..

You might want to search for threads here, there's a lot of info on baffles and different options like removing or cutting down.

Sportsters have always had the better sound. I believe this
Is because they have more aggressive cams.

My brothers Nightster with short shots sounded better than my Breakout with the big radius pipes. I thought it was weird also

My neighbor has said that my Sporty with Samson ripsaws sounds better than his Dyna with Screaming Eagle mufflers.

I ride a 04 Fatboy with V&H radius and took my girlfriend's (my old) 04 1200R with V&H for a rip not long ago. Gotta say I love how the sportster sounds. Didn't put much thoughts in it but figured it might have something to do with the engine of the fatboy being balanced.

Yea I have the stock V&H baffles in both It must be the cams since obviously the old statement of "Ain't no replacement for displacement" doesn't ring true.
I had the misconception that the larger engine would be alot more throatY... ill just make my own words up here.

And just LOL "Why? because we love you M O U S E".
