Ordered Carrlini Evil 14's Black. I'm going to use my stock risers which are 2 1/2 inches. Gotta figure out which cable set to order. The Burly kits are based on 2 inch stock risers, since these are 2 1/2 should i go with the set for 16's or do they make a set for 15's with ABS? This might be the only time as a man that i'll be complaining about having an extra half inch.
so their sets go from 14 to 16. so correct me if i'm wrong, but if i go for the set for 16's, that will leave me with an extra 1 1/2 inches of cable, which wont be to bad for incase i want to use a extension riser for a little more height.

I wanted the forward convex bend that the Carlini's have. I Guess I could of went to a custom builder to have it done, but why bother if they're already made. Bill's were just to much after the shipping and powder coating. I liked the look at the Carlini's the best, plus the reviews helped and the advice from everyone here. Mine will be in Friday. the I have to make sure they are the right size, then order the cables. It may take a bit to get them on, my buddies shop is full right now. but it's winter so no hurry.

what size did you go with, how tall are you?

custom is custom, usually get what you pay for, not saying his craftsmanship is poor by any means. but by the time you ask for what you want you've got 6 or 700 dollar bars on, ain't no way I'm paying that for handle bars. but that's just me. if you're making a show bike or doing an all out project, then have at it. This is my daily rider, I do 10 to 12,000 a year on my bike, it doesn't sit long enough to be stared at nor do I want it to. it's to please me, sure compliments are cool, but not worth killing my bank account over.
the width of the stocks is something that bothers me, like i riding a boat. sorta like beach bars, not into them. my last bike i had road6 customs, which wern't to bad, but i wanted better. think i'm doing better this time. I was also looking at JSR customs, but again wanted that curved style. looking forward to seeing yours completed, good luck!
bars came in, had to call the company, they're crooked. when you lay them down one side is 1/2 inch higher than the other. gotta take pics and send them so they can get it resolved..bummed. but i know they will get fixed. was looking forward to getting them on

Got the new set in. i have to be honest, i'm not completely satisfied with them. they still seem a tad bit off, but i'm tired of f*cking with them. they are about as good as they are gonna get for me. maybe because it's 5 pieces that have to be welded together. i would think they would be put on a jig, but i'm not sure of the process. but i don't feel like having to take more pictures and waiting another week and a half for who knows what will come in the door next time. one thing i won't do is recommend them to anyone. for this price i would expect a lot better quality control. sending the really bad ones back this week.

Damn that sucks to hear about the problems with the bars. Carlini has a good rep for making quality bars. I would call him back and get that price you payed down to a price they are worth. I
