Default Engine Heat

I'm new to this forum and have a question. Last year I went to a Sundowner Seat on my 2005 FLSTCI. I love the seat but now I am noticing the heat from the engine is really burning my inside thigh. I am looking for a solution that keeps me riding.

Has anyone tried those V-twin Heat Deflectors and how did you like them? I know Kuryakan Has a clear saddle too but it just does look that good IMHO. Are there any other options available?

On another note, I just put on a Hoppe Fairing and everyone thought I bought a new bike. It's really nice to have tunes now but I do miss my bag I had on the windshield. I purchased a 3 compartment bag to use with this fairing but being short it was blocking my view so we took it off. That was the reason I bought the Sundowner seat to lower me.

Thanks for any advice
Jules
