What's the best handlebar for small people? Well she isn't that small (5'8") but she is having problem with the handle bar reach.
We've already replaced the forward control with a reduced reach now we need to get a handlebar that has reduced reach as well.
Obviously we don't wanna buy a handle bar only to find out it doesn't do what it does so do you guys have experience with reduced reach handlebar for a Breakout?
Couldn't find it on google or here so we had to make this post sorry about that
I have no experience with the Breakout, but have a look at the Wild One Chubby Wo560. It claims something like 14 inches of pullback.
In fact have a look at this web page. It doesn't show a Breakout but look at "WO560 on an FLSTF". When you get there watch the animation and you can see a representation of stock bars verses the WO560. It seems to be quite a reach advantage.
Have you considered apes? I'm 5' 10 with 16" Carlini apes on my Breakout and love them. 12-14" might be better at 5'8 and you can pull them back more than I have mine. I know the looks not for everybody, but riding the Breakout with apes is so much more enjoyable that I would keep them even If I didn't like the look. It completely changed my riding experience for the better, bike is soooo much easier to handle!! My Rocker C would benefit too but leaving them for the look only!!
