Well, I acted on that urge. I sold my 2010 Heritage and purchased a 2015 Road King. The bike has been a joy to ride, especially after I had the rocker lockers installed to get rid of that noise in the motor. The 103 high output motor is great and the cruise control is what I needed on our 1300 mile trip to our home in Florida. I do have access to a softail, my wife has a 2014 CVO Deluxe so when I miss the softie, I just ride hers.
Happy Thanksgiving .
Why not both. My 1996 FB has sat ride along side many touring bikes in the bike room.
Some time you just want to ride the softail. I would not give up either. Two different rides .
I still have my 2014 SGS. I wanted to get into the wind without a windshield, radio, GPS. Told my wife I was thinking about trading it for a FLSS. She talked me into keeping the SGS. I'm glad she did, I would have really missed my SG. It's been a little cold lately, so the SGS Is getting out more these days.
Yes, I know I have a good wife.
Every once in awhile lately I get the urge to trade or sell my Heritage for one of the new Rushmore models like the RGS or SGS. I am having a hard time justifying spending all that cash to replace a sharp, good looking paid for 09 Heritage Classic.
Would it be worth it? What do you think?
Thanks
No & Don't sell the Heritage....!!
If you want a Rushmore, get one, but keep both...!
I almost sold my Heritage when I bought my '12 FLHTK.... so glad I kept it!
None of the new models do much for me. I'll stick with my 05 Road King Classic. More comfortable ride than any I've test rode. 18 day trip last year with no discomfort.
