New Breakout
You never responded to my previous statement about fishing...
Chicken on a Chain is one of my favorite Soft Plastic artificial baits. Do you fish the Salt?
Thank you Sir.
I saw some of your pictures. You got to it before I did, but I'm glad you did, so I could confirm my vision... a bagged Breakout!! Wait for it....

I bought a PowerVision a couple bikes ago and still use it. It does a great job and is easy to use after learning the process. Nothing wrong with a PowerVision and I don't regret it. (Except that it doesn't autotune timing settings on a Sportster, but I doubt any of them do. I dumped the Sportster anyway.)
However, I have a buddy with a Dyna Low Rider and the FP3. I was shocked at how easy it is to use, and how well it tunes a stock, stage 1 or stage 2 bike. If I had it to do over or if the PV ever fails, I'll pick up the FP3 without hesitation.
The only drawback to the FP3 is that the support, although excellent from V&H, isn't set up for stage 3 or more mods. The device is probably capable, but heavier mods come in so many different forms that V&H (or most any vendor) would need to ramp up the support by a huge amount to keep up with demand. It's just not logical for a mass market product unless the vendor really wants to commit to this type of service.
Fuel Moto does the full support for the PV, but they spend a lot of money testing different setups. The same type of support for the FP3 would raise the price on the device. I guess it just depends on what you are marketing. V&H markets a very functional tuner at a good price, so they keep it focused on customers with stock or mildly modified motors.
So, if you plan major Stage 3 or bigger mods, look into a tuner and supplier that supports the process. The PV is one of several good choices If you plan on staying stage 2 or less, the FP3 is a very good choice.

Just depends on the dealer I guess.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I like the V&H 2 in to 2 Big Radius and I like the Arlen Ness 18-943 Inverted Series 10 Gauge Black a/c to match the stock wheels.
What Tuner is recommended for the most bang for your buck?
I like the Bluetooth ability of the Vance and Hines Fuelpak FP3 Tuner.
Dump the factory footpads ASAP - they drag too quickly. Replacements will allow you to lean the BO a lot more, and leaning into curve with the BO is where it's at!
Also, ditch the crappy HD halogen headlight. Get a 7" light bucket on eBay and snake the old wires in and get a Speaker 7" Evo 2 LED headlight to put in it.
There's so many mods you can do to the BO... go for it, and welcome to the Softail/Breakout family!
