I miss my baby.
I used to ride years ago. To get back into riding, 2 years ago I bought a Suzuki C50T. Very easy riding bike. Great bike to get comfortable with. I'd ride it a little in the summer put it away in the winter and not think much about.
This last summer I was ready to move up in engine size and bike in general. Sold the C50T and bought a 2014 Heritage Softail Classic. do I love this bike.
Everything about it.
I'm going crazy not being able to ride it during these winter months. I never had this feeling with my Suzuki. In the 2 summer months of owning it this year, I think I put more miles on it then I did on the Suzuki in 2 years.
Dude I understand. We didn't have much of a summer this year due to the historical amount of rain we got. I also owned a c50t and it was the reason I got into Softails. I love the counterbalanced softail engine. Congrats on the heritage and welcome to the Softail family

We've already had salt placed on the roads here. I won't ride on that.
I don't think we have had any salt yet. Suburbs of Detroit. We had one snow, but it went away fairly quick. It may be in the 50s this weekend. MAYBE, I'll put her on the road, but I doubt it.
54 degrees here in Omaha Nebraska today but I didn't ride.
I decided to wait and ride tomorrow and Thursday when the temp is going to be low to mid 60s.
As for salt on the road; a dry road is a dry road.
No serious snow fall yet and all of ya garaging the bike. Buncha poosies, ya haven't rode long enuff if ya didn't make that run and had ice in your beards at the end...my two cents. Yes, FL boy, but one that has been around the country.

Yeah dude it's not that serious. I have other hobbies. Riding a motorcycle is just one of them.
