Glad to see your still standing, and I figure you'll be coming intro some $$ for your injuries, and for the bike. That might ease the pain a bit. One of my rules of driving, is if I see a cop on the side of the road for any reason, I expect brakes and stupid stuff to be happening in the very close future. I have a lot of rules like that. Idiots see a cop and do stupid things. As you found out. That's simply sucks about you and your bike.

Sounded to me the guy just kept going while the carnage behind him was going on? Thinking the cop did not chase him down, but may be wrong? There was mention of a car being cut off that may constitute improper lane change. Beyond that no law against stopping quickly to avoid a collision with a car in front of you, does not mean someone behind you can rear end you and its your fault for stopping to avoid a collision.

Again best part our Biker is OK for the most part!!
