A wife of a family friend called me and said she was going o get her hubby the custom dynamics LED bulbs for the front and rear. She needs my help with which ones to order.
Can any of you tell me for a 2014 Soft Tail Slim what bulb type for the front and rears? 1156 and/or 1157
Not bothering to do a search on your model to answer that question. I do know that CD has all the answers for the year and model, call them for what to order.

Not bothering to understand what I posted or even taking the time to read it? It's not my model, not my bike. I hope that is clearer!
I did call CD and they asked me if my bulb had one or two filaments and I need to consult my owners manual.
Again, it's not my bike. I got a call from a friends wife that is Christmas shopping for him.
Look at the Dynamic Ringz as an option to the normal 1157 replacements. The front stays white for running lights and yellow for turn signals.
The rear stays red for running lights but flashes yellow.

lmbo...CD didn't know what bulbs/setup the bike needed? Seriously?

They cost a bit more, but are very cool.
Thanks. I have the ringz for the front on mine and I like the white halo. I'll recommend to her and leave it up to her what she orders. Appreciate the help.
I just had to do a lil research on the Y/M and chime back in. According to HD parts catalogue it's 1157 front and 1156 rear. Call up CD and find out what you need, the triple play in the rear is the way to go but a lil pricey. I chose the bullet ringz in the front and changed out the rear to a red lens with the HD R/B/T adapter. I then downsized the wattage on the the 1156 so it didn't look like the brakes were on all the time.
You wish to go that route? Message me.
Of course I could have read something wrong...heheh

The Slim has rear R/T/B side lights with no tail light. It uses a dual filament 1157 bulb. I still have the bulbs I removed when I replaced them with Custom Dynamics LED clusters. They are the same HD P/N 68168-89A bulbs in my 2016 Slim S as in the 2014 Slim.
Unless this bike is an international model, then The TS are LED sealed units.

I see that now, should have looked at the model's photos first instead of the parts. I wouldn't have mentioned triple play, my bad. Strange that it did list those bulbs for the Softail Slim FLS & Softail Slim S FLSS though, must be more to it than mentioned in the installation.
