Lowering Kit Install Time
I just purchased a front & rear lowering kit from Progressive Suspension for my 07 Night Train. The weather is not supposed to be very great here on Friday, so I was going to attempt to get the kit on before I ride again on Saturday. I was just wondering about how long this will take me to install, and if anyone who has installed this kit before has any pointers orsuggestions on thingsto watch out for. Thanks.

Did you get adjustable shocks from them, or just the lowering kit (studs)? If it's the studs, do you have access to a press? You'll need one to compress your stock shocks for disassembly. Either way, once that is done, maybe 45 mins total, start to finish. It's simple as can be. Make sure you readjust your belt after you lower it. As the bike gets lower, the belt gets tighter. Other than that, it's not a big deal. Put bike on lift. Struggle, fight, cuss, and remove shocks, install new studs into shock bodies, reinstall shocks (struggle, fight, cuss here also), put bike on ground. See how it looks. Adjust ride height to suit your taste. Make sure both shocks are adjusted the same. Adjust rear belt if necessary. Go ride and show off your new look. Good luck.
I bought the adjustable studs for the rear, and the replacement lowering springs for the front. And I do have access to a press, so that shouldn't be a problem.
