PC-v exhaust note change
I installed a Power Commander 5 on my deluxe with SE filter ans V&H truduals(no baffles) My exhaust note has changed to a deeper sound.It sounds like I put the Baffles back in> Anybody know how and why this would have happened ?

I had a 2006 Fatboy with a Dobeck Fuel injection tuner. You could enriched the stock lean condition with the turn of a screwdriver.
The sound change in the bike was obvious when going from stock to a richer mixture, even at idle, the bike sounded stronger and more powerful, and turning the screw back to stock lean, everyone could hear the difference.
I have a V&H FP3 now and it is not possible to go instantly back and forth to stock, but it is a far superior tuning device.

Thanks it does help. I talked to the tech at Dyno Jet and he said that the unit should have no effect on exhaust note. I said well it did,maybe the added fuel was making the deeper sound or something I dont know. He still stuck with something else is causing that.
