Default My new Softail Slim

I traded in my 2013 Wide Glide for a new 2016 Slim. Going to have to work with the heel toe shifter. But like the shorter feel and the bigger front tire, Should say wider front tie. If any one has some ideas about the shifter please let me know I am short.

Have new Cobra Slipons coming. More other things coming to.

Congrats on the new Slim. I mostly use the heel shifter to find neutral from 1st gear.

Nice choice, just pop off the heel part if you don't like it but if you try it for a while I bet you get to like it.

I have small feet so the heel is not in the way. I wish they made a short shifter levers.

Congrats on the new ride. For the shifter, I removed the heel shifter, and put the decorative cover over the open splines. And just went with the toe shifter.

I take my heel shifter off too. I like to move my feet around on the boards plus once my jeans got caught in it and I was close to dropping the bike.

Congrats.

The position of the heel/toe shifters can be adjusted somewhat by changing their location on the spline. Some adjustment is also possible by undoing the lock nuts and lengthening the shift rod. Maybe that will work for you.

About 2600. At the time I did not ride much. But this bike will get some miles.
