I just replaced the stock baffles in my SE Double Barrel 16 guage exhaust to the Vance & Hines Quiet core baffles.(pull out put in easy swap. ) The stock baffles were pretty restrictive. The quiet core baffles made the pipes a little louder and deeper in tone.It feels like some more power also by the seat of the pants test.
I was worried I would have to re map it. I have the HD stage 1 download that was put in when the pipes and AC were installed when the bike was new. Runs great. No popping, no hesitation, or flat spots. Not even a pop at decel. So it looks like I am good to go with out remapping. Anything I should look for ?
In case anyone has these pipes. They were made by VH for HD / SE They are the same pipe that VH markets now as the Q series. Alot like the VH big shot staggard with a bigger power chamber and quieter baffles.
Very happy with the 60 dollar investment.
