Talking Goodbye quiet baffles..

I had to replace my pipes a little while back. I had a set of vance and hines BSS on the bike before, and I really liked how they looked, so I went with the Q-series pipes that look just like them this time. I was curious how much quieter they would be than the stock bss baffles. They were definitely quiet. The bike sounded good, but I could hear my engine more than the exhaust. When I removed the bss (due to damage), I kept the baffles and finally got around to putting them in the new pipes. What a difference!! It sounds awesome once again. The difference in the baffles is pretty significant. the quiet baffles are capped off in what appears to be two places. The stock bss baffles are pretty much open pipe with a few ribs inside. I think I'll keep the bss baffles in from now on.
