Default baffles

I went out to my garage to change the baffles on my rinehart pipes i have set of BCT from my v&h bbs pipes from my nighttrain,i worked my *** of to get the stock baffles out and than i found out that the rinehart pipes are smaller diameter than the v&h bbs pipes and the bct baffles wont fit
anyways,i have no use for this baffles,pm me if you want those

I was thinking of getting some baffles for my V & H BSS's.
I was wondering do I have to take off my pipes from my bike to install the baffles?

I installed baffles on my V&H staggered short shots with them on the bike but it was some work to get the heat shields back on.

I think the smaller diameter is part of the reason the Rineharts like you have suck in the horsepower department. I tested some with no baffles, full baffles, a 1/4" bolt with 4 5/16 nuts on it, and a stock baffle cut in half. Removing the baffles was worth 7 hp, but the curve under 4000 was much flatter with the baffles in. With the baffles cut in half, it had the nice curve under 4000, and lost 3 hp on the top.

My advice is to cut the baffle in half and reinstall.

V&h baffles come out easy, one small screw on the side of the pipes and pool the baffle out done.
