Do you have baffles in your pipes?

The poll function hasn't been working for at least a couple of weeks.

That said, I've got V&H "quiet baffles" in mine.

Stock pipes, baffles removed, sounds great. Have had many compliments about the sound of these pipes.

I have the V&H quiet baffels in mine, but I think they are louder than when I installed them.

The quiet baffles get louder after they burn out the fiberglass wrap, from what I understand. I just installed a set too. I have noticed it getting slightly louder over the first 200 miles, but the sound is now just about exactly what I'm looking for. A little loud but deep and throaty, and much better performance/driveability than with the joke loud baffles that were in my pipes when I bought the bike. All the high pitched rattly/tinny sound is gone, and I can crack the throttle open without crumbling bridge abbutments now.

Thanks for the help, anyone know of running without baffles damaging the engine? I was told this is possible. Thanks again.
