I leave the screws out of the baffles on mine with no problems. Just the end capholds the baffles in. I can go from no baffle, to quiet baflle or regular baffle in moments. Just a thought. Because taking heat shields off was a pain!
I sent V.H. an e-mail and asked why no access holes in the heat shield. The reply I got was they thought it " Looked Better " Bull S**T was my reply back....
You have to remove the heat shields to get to the allen screws on the Big Shots Long pipes? I have the Big Shots Staggered and I did not have to remove the heat shields to get to the 2 screws. On the other hand, I did remove my heat shields in order to mount my Thunder Monsters 6 inches inside the pipe....had to drill a 1/4 inch hole for the screws to secure the baffles. Sounds KILLER now!!!
Did you mount the Thunder Monsters with the lollipop towards the front or back?
