There areadditional tuning modules out for the '07 that you may be interested in. They are closed loop systems that actually tune themselves using the 02 sensors.Daytona Sensors, TwinScan II+ is an add on to the Race Tuner that allows it to tune itself and the Zipper's ThunderMax includes a replacement ECM and an auto tune module. They add a little cost to the the upgrade process but save you money in dyno tuning everytime you upgrade the engine or change pipes. These really start to pay for themselves when you get into changing out heads & cams. If I were not planning on going past stage 1 upgrades I would do the Power Commander or the DE Race Tuner in that order, these are the two most widely used units. The DFO is similar to the SE Race Fuelerand the Vance & Hines Fuel Pack in that they can only control the injectors, not the actual ignition of the bike.

I just installed a PC III on my 05 Deuce this weekend. I did a ton of research and for me it was the way to go. I do not plan on doing anything beyond the stage one upgrade. I also added a big sucker air cleaner with the PC III. I had the PC III pre mapped to my specific setup. The install was very easy, unplug the ECM, plug in the PC III and secure the PC III and wires under the seat. The PC III made a huge difference. My deuce is running smooth with no pops or backfires. I was planning on getting a dyno tuneafter I installed, but not any more. There was also a noticable improvement in power andyou can hear the big sucker sucking air when you ride.

Hello. There is also a closed loop model by Terry Components called "Terminal Velocity" which is becoming popular also. One thing though smitbrad, only the PCIII and factory Stage 1 download will reset your rev limiter from 4500 to 6250. Hope this helps.

I only plan on doingStage 1 and no other modifications. There are too many choices!I'll have to do a little more reading into the different options and try and make a decision. Thanksfor the information!
