A friend of a friend I know runs a bobtail fender on his deuce. IMO it just didn't look right but he loves it and that's all that matters. I don't see him that often but if I run into him soon I'll snap a pic for you.

I've seen Deuces that have changed the rear fender, but never to a bobtail style. I've thought about changing mine out a couple times so I could put a bigger tire on the back, but I just can't get rid of a part of the bike that makes the Deuce what it is. The rear fender is kinda one of the bike's trademarks. Changing the rear fender in my opinion just turns the bike into another softail. But that is just my opinion and to each his own. Everyone has a vision of what they want their bike to look like and they should go with it. Afterall, that's what CUSTOMIZING is.

That's true and I'll probably add the 200 if I wind up changing my wheels. I like the look of the Deuce rear fender and don't want to lose that. The bike just has sexy lines. Especially when it's lowered.

Installing a Bobtail on a Deuce might mean either changing to standard fender struts or drilling into the Bobtail.
I don't think they'll match up without a little fabricating.
