I had a Dyna Wide Glide and I bought Harley's sound system. It consisted of the two speakers and a factory match volume control that mounted on the right side controls. There was speculation about wind and whether you could hear em going at highway speaks but you could. Check out my YouTube video I made before I sold my bike.

A good set of earbuds and a MP3 player, otherwise you may take away from the look of the bike.

Love my fairing with TUNES. Most of my riding is longer rides and the extra wind blockage is a plus to me. And for me the music is perfect from my fairing. Bluetooth, Fosgate amp and a good setup of speakers.

Nice, did you have to remove your tank to wire it?

Nice setup! I thought about some sort of broadcast content (news, music, etc.) but it's all I can do to keep myself alive on NJ roads with 100% situational awareness ( 5 "normal" senses + "spidey sense").

Nope, just loosened it a bit. I was able to get the wire attached to the frame. Very easy install.

Not sure the OP was looking for opinions on whether or not to add music.
Looks like they have already decided that it was something they want.

But since you brought it up; I too thought tunes on a Harley was silly until my Wife bought me a Boom Audio setup for Christmas.
Not to seem ungrateful I went ahead and installed it and found that I actually enjoyed having tunes.

I had the Harley Boom Audio system and it worked well.
The install was easy.
Two things I didn't like about it;
1) not bluetooth so if you want wireless you have to come up with you own bluetooth receiver setup.
2) At highway speeds above 60-65 mph all you really have is a musical noise maker. You can hear music but it's not very enjoyable.

Like "Knees" I now have a Reckless fairing with the same setup but I don't see the handlebar control on "Knees" pic.
The setup is wireless and at 75 mph I'm rocking on.

I will say due to price I think you will need more than wanting tunes to pay that much for the Reckless fairing setup ($1200+)
