Default Determing Carburetor Type/size

I have a 97 Badboy and needs to have the carburetor seals/gaskets replaced. it leaks bad when petcock is on and motor is off.. my guess something to do with a float bowl gasket or some other seal in a jet perhaps.... anyway,, in order for me to get the right parts/ rebuild kit ahead of time, can i find the model/size/type of carb on my bike from markings on the exsiting carb? I feel this may not be a stock carb and thats why i am asking ahead of time. I'd hate to get this thing off and take a few weeks finding parts. If I can get to it ahead of time and still ride it a bit, before parts come in, would be preferable.

Any and all ideas are welcome. Thanks

Take a look at the casting on the carb If it has a Harley emblem we can start there...If not then it's a good possibility that it is a S&S super g or super E..look at the carb and get back to us.

Take a picture and post it, Any carb will have casting numbers which will be required to get the correct rebuild kit.
