carlini pist apes
hi, have a 2003 heritage, been looking at the pist apes in 14" black. do these apes run higher than 14" ? also will they work with a windshield? i am 6' 1' 240lbs. if that matters. also i have alloy art 2" risers on the softail now. any information is greatly appreciated thank you very much. SEMPER FI !!!!!!!

I'm 5'8" and slapped them on my Deluxe along with their Hot Slot risers, can see the scoot in my profile. I'm also running a low profile custom seat which sits me back and lower to the ground, the bars are a couple inches above my shoulder height when cruising but comfortable. Perfect for me. Remember to add the poly bushings when going to apes. Nice bars, and yes they do work with my windshield. I will say at 6'1" you could go 16" with a 2" riser and no pull back. Cheers
