Default 1993 FLSTC question.

I've got saddle bags, and a backrest/luggage rack that are hard mounted. Is it possible to get a quick disconnect system just for the backrest/luggage rack? I don't care about removing the bags but I would like to take off the rest of the stuff when I don't need it.

No you will need to replace to quick change dock, your bags won't be quick mount. the accessories are if you buy em that way

Takes me about 15-20 minutes with some wrenches to remove or install my bags, backrest and luggage rack. I install some stainless socket head cap screws in place of the studs when I have all the stuff off. Nice clean look. Throw the studs/hardware in the bags so they don't get misplaced and you're good to go when you want to put them back on.

But I don't want my bags to be removable, just the backrest . Anyway, I found what I was looking for. Pretty pricey stuff.

I'll head up to the Webster Swap next month. Should be able to score a set up there.
