That's a nice lookin bike, I'm surprised the dealer won't do anything for you to make it right. Did they discount the shocks or labor? I'd think they'd at least check to see if it'd been reflashed for free. Guess that place doesn't like repeat business.

Find a good indy. Mine charges $68/hr, the dealer is $100/hr. Might even be higher this year.
My '03 FLHTCUI gets 35 mpg, Stage I/ dealer flash. 38-40 mpg/2 up. (Lighter touch).

Your bike is nice looking. Invest some money in setting it up right. The 88/5 speed is a good combo.

One thing to note on fuel efficiency with fuel injection and tune. In that it makes a huge difference on fuel efficiency depending if the bike was tuned for top end speed or low end.
Betting yours was tuned for top (WOT) end speck. Which means that under normal low end operations, you're wasting fuel.
Mention that to Vance and Hynes. Tell them your milage sucks. They'll then make the adjusme t necessary for your fp

I took the bike to real Harley dealer for the shocks. 865 bucks later I got her back. I took her to the dealer I got her from for the fuelpak. Free of charge.
