I have a all American rider swing arm bag from j&p cycles. its a 90 dollar bag. Small and thin but looks good. you can fit a jacket and a soda in it. http://www.jpcycles.com/product/103-351
I've had my Leatherworks bag for a couple of weeks now and I love it, but I have question for you guys. How do you wash the bike with a leather swingarm bag? I've been taking mine off and it's a PITA. I thought about throwing a plastic bag over it, but that seems like it's going to be a hassle as well. I'm not really worried about getting the outside wet, just water getting inside. Then I'd have to take it off anyway to dump the water out. I have a feeling I'm way overthinking this and should just leave it alone and wash the damn bike as normal.

I hand wash my bike. Just don't throw the water inside the bag and it will be fine. I wouldn't take the bag off for every wash. As far as I'm concerned, anything leather will eventually get faded a bit or look broken in much like the black denim paint job on my bike..... and I actually look forward to that.

+1 on the hand wash. I guess the bag would even stay dry inside if you rinsed it of with a hose....mine even stayed dry inside when getting caught in a real bad thunderstorm once.
I picked up the Lick's Cycles bag a bit over a year ago. It's the brown leather one, so the leather is a bit softer. Well as you can see it's pretty deformed. I'm thinking about getting a buddy who's a bit of a sheet metal savant to make me an insert, but he's a hard man to get ahold of some days. Does anyone make inserts for these bags to help them keep their shapes?
