Hey fellow FLSTI owners - I was toying with the idea about putting the "Heritage Softail" script on my front fender. What do you guys think? Announce it or keep in "stealth mode"?
Most of the guys I know have the Classic, so I like the fact that my fender trim is different. It's simpler. The script it tougher to clean wax out of, too (use a toothbrush). Bottom line- do what you think looks right for your bike.
I like mine the way it is, sets it apart from the classic. Also since MoCo made our rides only one year, that alone sets it apart from allother models. Kinda like one of a kind, to me thats right on. Altough itsyour Ride do what makes you happy. Ride Safe and Often....BearC.Paw.....

Yep, I cut out the center of my football cover with a dremel cutting wheel, then sanded the edges down. It's a little rough but not too noticable. I actually stole the idea from another member on this board. No probs running it so far!
