Only Harley I have owned (6 years) and you can barhop or motor down the freeway. I've ridden to Sturgis 5 times and it will cruise. Plus it looks so cool....

Love my 2014 fatboy. Handles better than expected. If I were you I would roll a good set of pipes into the deal and dont even pick it up until they install them. MAkes a big difference

Default Love my new bike!

The Fat Boy is nimble but powerful. It takes curves great due to its fantastic balance and low center of gravity. And yet, on the Southern California freeways it will cruise effortlessly at 80+ MPH in all weather conditions.

The Fat Boy is even easier to ride than my Sportster was. Gotta love that.

I agree. It is so much more balanced that the sportster.i loved my sporty, it was my first bike ever. I finally got to take the Fat Boy out for a ride . What a smooth awesome ride. I feel like I'm riding in it, not on it. Now I'm torn about putting bags on it. I love the convenience of having a place to put stuff , but love the look of the bike without bags .

The first time I scraped mine, it scared the H3LL out of me. Now I just smile and lean harder.

Default Go lo or go home!!!

Had a 2012 Fatboy Lo and traded for a Roadglide thinking it would be more comfortable......Not at all impressed with the tourers. The air shocks are crap....which is why they went back to coil overs on the specials. Anyways....traded the roadglide back to Fatboy Lo S and never looking back. Should of stuck with my gut in the first. Hard lesson learned....Good luck on your decision.

Fatboys rock!!!! Bought a new one in 07, got rid of it and jumped on an ultra limited in 2010, and now the ultra is gone and i've got a 13 fatboy low. I will never be without a fatboy again.

Detachable saddlebags is the answer. Plenty out there.
