Default Inner primary 2006 fatboy

I have to replace the front sprocket for my drive belt on my 2006 fatboy. The attached picture is the backside of the inner primary that goes up against the sprocket. I was inspecting it and a little piece of metal came off the lip. You can see it laying off to the right side. Do you think it continue using this inner primary.

That doesn't look good.

Can you post a picture of the whole thing?

Hey,
First let me say I am not a Harley mechanic, but from what I can see in the pic it looks like there was a flaw in the casting, I wouldn't worry to much about it. That being said if it makes you sleep better at night a nice used inner primary is pretty cheap.
