Does anyone here have this exhaust on their softail? I'm having an issue on my Fatboy getting this exhaust installed. The directions are really shitty. I am going to call Bub later when they open but wanted to get feedback here first...
The instructions say that the "L" tab off the muffler bracket should be touching the bottom header pipe. However, there is too much of a gap. the header will touch the transmission cover before reaching the "L" bracket.
There were no spacers to put between the frame and muffler mount bracket to push it out. Should there be?
Or is it possible I have an incorrect "L" bracket that's not long enough.
If anyone has this exhaust and can post close up pics I would appreciate it...
